Hey! 04:07
Hey! You’ve got a sickle-cut riptide Keep the numbers numbers red-lined, out wide Hey! I’ve got a jumble black cat bone In a cloth bag stolen from the old moon Hey! You’ve got a borrow from the real high Long lines curling round like the big sky Hey! I’ve got a pocket full of new rouge Little, paper people shouting out the taboo Hey! Love Castaway Grew, grinned Say say Hey! Love Cacophony Jewelled, dragged Into sympathy. Hey! You’re on the corner of a blue ball On the outside, counting rules to save you Hey! I’ve got a feather in a fossil Wolf-tipped, slick, dipped in a crows yawn Hey! You’re on the deck of a string ship With your eyes shut, staring at your eyelids Hey! I’ve got a touch another moment Cut a rose thorn, drink the wild immense oh You’ve got the spark to crash it through though Take the sun up, burn off the shame-bruise Touch out the fey-bait, the nevermore Missed missed what the sea-green disgorged Hey, what’s that screech screech? That rising out the deep deep? Hey, look at those teeth teeth The cracked bones beat, beat. You’ve got to sift through the white noise Take stock when the brooch is destroy I’ve grown a jack-in-the-box The thing thing runs on clockwork Hey! Love Castaway Grew, grinned Say say Hey! Love Cacophony Jewelled, dragged Into sympathy.

Seen with the eye The woven outlines Crawl to describe The Matters of illusion I tell you, it’s a matter of mind Fixing one stitch at a time Lost in the sun The patina is outshone Rays dilate Radiating outwards I tell you, it’s a matter of mind Picking one stitch at a time Pulled to the moon Lovers coiled in motion Twinned with the sky That rivers twist to describe I tell you, it’s a matter of mind Fixing one stitch at a time

The Breaks 03:43
She said come. She said go. She said yes when her eyes said no. She said fire, she meant snow. I thought rain and then the sun rose. She went up and I went under. I said enough and then cried thunder. I thought peace and I gave it hell. She knows me only to damn well. She said. She said – Remember then, remember when We were out in the morning shade; We were out playing each new day; We were out in the drowning sun Growing up, moving along. She has my name. She has my coat. No more fear and no more hope. She said love in the blue bell woods I took a picture of where she stood. She said. She said – Remember then, remember when We were out in the morning shade; We were out playing each new day; We were out in the drowning sun Growing up, moving along. We were out drowning the sun.

It’s easy to say there’s nothing wrong When birds return to their morning song And the white dogs run to the west And the sky looks, for all the world, perfectly at rest. It’s easy to say there’s nothing wrong When the quiet drops from the trees and stretches on and on. It’s easy to say there’s nothing wrong When your love’s where you left it all along – In the breeze.

Sunblushed 05:11
I saw a mountain in the clouds sail on by I saw the sun turn red and burn through the sky Sun – blushes - Love – pushes - Soul – washes - Turns – hushes - Gold Lines electric roll through the grass like a tide A white heat climbing from the stone-split wild Sun – blushes - Love – pushes - Soul – washes - Turns – hushes - Gold

Supersun exploder Is coming down to take us over. Super-love devoured. It’s growing fast, drawing power. Rotary encoder. Reality reordered. Supersun exploder Is coming down to take us over. Supersun’s coming down to take us over LOVE – REAL LOVE Fire in the heavens looks like violence Wild hunting through the violets Love in snatches, gross distraction Needled, starlight, silver sinking down. Picture them in your mind An old fashioned love with golden eyes Innocence may be left behind But an old fashioned love is divine

Juno Sleeps 04:48
Juno sleeps and cold belief Threatens to overrun And bloody, drips, tightens its grip Burns up in the sun. Egotists, we turn and twist Mark another slate – There must be another wish That we can fabricate. It’s a brittle glass right from the start Which here usurps the eye. Look again at the cuts and stains That make up its history. Cover all and you’ll keep none The planets still revolve And notions slip like societies That time slowly dissolves. Juno sleeps Juno sleeps Juno sleeps under the trees Where the waters run. Juno sleeps, but gradually The yellow springs become. Here sets the sun in crimson Branches to relief. And so it goes, and on and on And down and underneath. (solo) The day like sand slips from the hand That tries to hold it fast Or fixes to the future, youth Still bottled by the past. Fairy lights in windows, night More strangely multiplies As voices call and we forestall The ways we cannot die. Juno sleeps Juno sleeps Juno sleeps In yesterday’s leaves Juno sleeps Juno sleeps Juno sleeps In yesterday’s leaves Fragile bones under the snow Whose colours once outshone. I’ll admit to lack and turn to that Which doesn’t need to know And retreat where Juno sleeps Besides the afterglow. Juno sleeps Juno sleeps Juno sleeps Juno sleeps Juno sleeps Juno sleeps

Come back blue sky Open up, just in time for us to start, Come alive, come alight, again. Notions of life forgotten Dust, in the light, shines.

Clean Away 03:18
I think it’s getting on me, the street grime, the small crime, small time breaking waves like ultraviolet headlights. There’s no sense stalling, calling out for someone to break a semblance out of a shade, out of the grey clothes remembrance or a new system that doesn’t control you. Clean Away, oh! Clean away. Clean Away, oh! Clean away. I think it’s getting on me, rusted, mistrust acted out in violence and the joining to the same – like soldiers standing enemies to the metered drums, selling out silence for the compulsion of the game, for its slick persuasion and the breaking of others names. Clean Away, oh! Clean away. Clean Away, oh! Clean away. I think it’s getting on me – bad dreams freed, greed gathering slick to the capillaries of fame, like oil-lights fluttering, choke – there’s no sense falling, folding or throwing in at the table of the grey, or at the house of the steward where you can only go to the grave. Clean Away, oh! Clean away. Clean Away, oh! Clean away.

Across the silent sea the waves awake Discharge glimmers of moon and unseen shapes Draw incandescent, the small lights of stars In long wet drifts and breathless arcs. Into the squaring streets the city’s sleep, Breaking its cocoon, comes like a flood Over the careful banks we daily keep, And draws intangible light from beneath.
